Grodno Oblast executes government grain procurement plan in full
Agricultural producers of Grodno Oblast have executed the government grain procurement plan. The local agricultural producers supplied 185,400 tonnes of grain, which makes up 100.2% of the plan, BelTA learnt from the resources and trade office of the bakery department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus. The agricultural companies of Grodno Oblast beat the wheat procurement plan by 3.8% and rye procurement plan by 0.4%. Grodno Oblast has always harvested quality food grain which can be used to manufacture bakery and pasta. Local wheat grain is rich in gluten. Agricultural producers of Belarus are close to implementing the government procurement plan. The regions have already delivered 980,300 tonnes of grain, which makes up 99% of the plan. This includes 536,500 tonnes of wheat, 264,300 tonnes of rye, and 179,500 tonnes of other crops, which makes up 111.3%, 88.1% and 86.3% of the plan correspondingly. Mogilev, Gomel and Vitebsk Oblasts have already executed the government procurement plan. Brest Oblast needs to deliver 5,800 tonnes to meet the plan which stands at 165,000 tonnes. Minsk Oblast needs to deliver 6,800 tonnes to close the 225,000 tonne plan.
