Grodnoenergo, Kulczyk Holding sign cooperation agreement
The Grodnoenergo and the Polish Kulczyk Holding Company signed an agreement on investment cooperation in Warsaw on 26 August, BelTA learnt from the Embassy of Belarus in Poland. The agreement envisages the construction of a 920MW coal plant in the Belarusian town of Zelva, a 400kV power line Bialystok-Ross with a DC link. The agreement was inked by Grodnoenergo Director General Vladimir Shaternik and Kulczyk Holding President of the Board Dariusz Mioduski. The next step will be an opening of joint companies in Belarus for the implementation of these projects. The agreement between Grodnoenergo and Kulczyk Holding is an important stage in the development of cooperation between Belarus and Poland, the embassy stressed.
