Lida District reports 10% increase in industrial output in January-July
In January-July this year the industrial companies based in Lida District manufactured products worth Br1102.4 billion (the cost of customer-owned raw materials included). This is 9.7% up from the same period last year, BelTA learnt from Andrei Khudyk, chairman of the Lida district executive committee. The share of the enterprises that reported an increase in the output accounted for 83.3% (30 companies) as compared to last year. Eleven of them increased the output by 20% or more, Andrei Khudyk informed. In January-July, Lidagroprommash produced 166 harvesters, 58 grain dryers, about 300 combined tillage and sowing units. There was a significant increase in the production of combined units, machinery and equipment for construction and maintenance of roads, tractor cultivators, grain storage systems, convector heaters, paints and varnishes, flax fiber, feedstuffs, etc. In January-July the local output of new types of products amounted to Br296 billion. The share of new products accounted for 27.3% of the total industrial output, Andrei Khudyk noted.
